Darkey Kellys Bar and Restaurant Dublin is named after the infamous lady of the night who played her trade in Copper Alley. Plenty of "Craic agus Ceoil" with Live Music on selected nights is the trademark of this bar. The pub itself is very lively and even casual conversation is loud. This might have something to do with the wood finish and acoustics because of this, but everything seems a lot louder than it should be which hampers quiet chats. The pub can fill up a bit and seats are at minimum but it does seem spacious for some reason. The pints are expensive enough and are alright. The service is cheerful, efficient and friendly. Should you go here and spend the night you'll end up enjoying the craic and having a good time.
After spending a day sight-seeing and shopping you can unwind at Darkey Kelly's Bar & Restaurant which offers an exciting range of food and entertainment. Traditional Irish as well as contemporary live music feature in the bar many evenings during the week. The perfect way to unwind after a day spent sampling the best of Dublin city.
