Slattery's is a traditional Irish bar boasting good food and good music. Slatterys Bar Dublin is now refurbished to give it a chic and modern look. Slatterys Bar Dublin offers all its visitors a night in the trendiest new quarter of Dublin. Come to Slatterys Bar Dublin
The Slattery's Bar is famous for the quality of its pint and the absolute efficiency of it's service. The bar is traditional in every sense of the word and yet, particularly with regard to the music on offer, has not stood still in the past.
Slattery Bar is not one of the new breed of virtual pubs that have risen from the binary mire to assault the senses and drape the landscape in the Emperor's new, or rather tacky, clothes. When you enter you will be met by a warm friendly atmosphere that is populated by an eclectic clientele ranging from the noble artisan through the pondering intelligentsia to the colourful psychotic. The staff is also quite eclectic and will be happy to meet and greet, attend to your needs, and enter into any banter that may be the order of the day.
In the mid-90s, the neglected shopping area that was Georges Street became the most happening street in the city when pubs like The Globe and Hogans opened up for business. Then Parliament Street became the place to be seen with Thomas Reads, the Front Lounge and the Porter House all doing roaring business. Now Capel Street is taking the party to the Northside with Jackie Nealons, GUBU and the newly refurbished Slattery's Pub.
Slattery's pub used to be a quaint worn down '70s rock bar with a dark interior and an old style music venue upstairs for Dublin's rock hopefuls. Then Slattery's was sold for over two million punts and the new owner initiated an overhaul of the pub's interior. The exterior of the bar's once shabby shades of black and white were changed to bright green. The bar's refurbishment saw Slattery's transformed into a modern style bar with a square bar downstairs surround with all the most fashionable fittings and furniture and a sophisticated upstairs bar with leather couches.
Slattery's bar still serves a wide selection of beer with very reasonable prices for Dublin city with bar service that is friendly and fast. Slattery's has a very tempting selection in their pub food menu and a tasty selection of snacks for later on. The clientele of the bar has also changed from rockers, punks to clubbers and trendy young things. So, for a night in Dublin trendiest new quarter, check out Slattery's on Capel Street.
