Glenaire Lodge offers guests a big Irish welcome with luxury accommodation and is convenient to many local amenities It is a short walk from the DART - Dublin's rapid transit system, and 10 minutes by car from the Dun Laoghaire Car Ferry. We are beside the N11 - the main coastal route to the south; an ideal location for city sightseeing, golfing breaks or overnight stays.
Accommodation
Marguerite Kennedy will provide you with a home from home atmosphere in her beautiful house set on detached grounds near the picturesque village of Dalkey.
Location
A close walk brings you to the Vico Road with dramatic views across to Bray head and the Sugerloaf Mountains.
Bedrooms
All 4 bedrooms at Glenaire Lodge are furnished to the highest standard with timber flooring, cheerful decor and good daylight.
Each of the 4 bedrooms come complete with ensuite bathrooms, which have power showers, WC and hair driers.
Facilities
We also provide a trouser press, ironing board in each room along with a colour TV. The bedrooms have full tea and coffee making facilities.
Breakfast
Breakfast is served in a bright room overlooking the Dublin Mountains. A Full menu is available - our favourite is the full Irish breakfast with fresh fruit salad to start, fresh ground coffee and home made brown bread with marmalade.
Directions
* Directions From City: Take the Merrion Road and follow car ferry signs through Blackrock to Dun Laoghaire
* From Dun Laoghaire: Follow cost road sign to Dalkey.
* From Dalkey follow sign to Killiney.
* At top of Killiney Hill road take right turn in village at sign for Bray/Wicklow.
* Follow road for 1 mile and take right turn onto Killiney Avenue.
* Take immediate sharp left turn and Coundon Court is 400 yards on right hand side.
* Glenaire Lodge is first house on left.
