hCitron is a modish mezzanine restaurant based in the sophisticated Fitzwilliam Hotel.

Citron seems to be here to stay with fresh and ultra mod decor brightening this unusual and cutting-edge Dublin restaurant. Citron befits it's design decorated in zesty lemon and lime colors, counterbalanced with the chalky white terrazzo, the woven white bar front and the dark timber floor. The ceiling is a collection of low flying ovoid forms that gently glow. This buzzing venue serves innovative modern urban cuisine in chic surroundings.

Serving a small but inventive selection of dishes for lunch and dinner, this restaurants stunning decor is equally matched with delectable food. A taste of the Citron Luncheon includes delicious starter such as Smoked Haddock Risotto with baby spinach and tarragon priced €5.50.

History

This restaurant first manifested itself as Conrad Gallagher's 'Christopher'. It then became 'Mango Toast' and was changed again to 'The Commons Cafe' and has finally revived itself as Citron.

Right on St. Stephens Green and at the top of Grafton Street, the perfect location for shopping, and a few minutes stroll to Trinity College, Temple Bar, National Gallery

Menu
Main courses on offer are meticulously prepared keeping ingredients to a minimum and flavor to a maximum. Mains include Pan-Fried Sea bream with roast plum tomato, asparagus and black olives priced €19.00 and Roast Tomato and Basil Risotto with parmesan and herb salad costing €10.00.

The dinner menu is sumptuously designed including delicious starters such as Carpaccio of Yellow Fin Tuna with saffron pickled vegetables €9.00 or Butternut Squash Soup with tangerine & Parma ham €6.50.
