Located in the countryside of Dublin, Hollystown Golf Club was opened in 1992 and was commended as "a fine addition to the Irish golf scene". This established parkland setting is set apart with the natural features of trees, streams and lakes. Hollystown got appreciation for the golf course in 1997, while hosting the Golfing Union of Ireland Leinster Youths Golf Championship. Irish International golfer, Ricky Elliott won this championship.

A tempting "green fees only" policy provides this terrific golfing provision a sheer attraction. There are three testing par 5's, a fiddly arrangement of par 4's and three altering par 3's, which make the par 72 a test of ability, refinement and belligerence.

In 1999, an extension to the services of an extra nine holes was opened, harmonizing the existing eighteen holes. This has formed three loops of nine holes (Red, Blue and Yellow) and presents three specifically different eighteen holes combinations, each proffering an exceptional demand to all golfing criterions.

The dining and bar facilities at the Golf Course are first class and with a large number of holes, the course can deal with any number of golfers.
