Set in the foothills of the Dublin Mountains overlooking a spectacular wooded valley you will find Kilternan Golf Club. This 4,952 metre course is a par 68, which is comprehensive and challenging for golfers of all abilities. The length of some of the par 4.s makes them difficult to reach and require two full shots to the greens.

The course measures 4952 off the medal tees, 4751 off the front tees, and 4399 off the ladies tees and offers breathtaking vistas at every turn of Dublin Bay and the Wicklow Mountains. A new fleet of Golf Buggies and Power Caddies are available for hire from the pro shop.

With a 25 minute drive from Dublin, this great family golf and country club has everything to offer, from a golf course to skiing, indoor heated pool, leisure centre and four indoor and four outdoor tennis courts. Established in 1988 and deigned by leading Irish architect Eddie Hackett, the course overlooks a spectacular wooded valley and enjoys views of the bat and the Wicklow Mountains.

The Kilternan Clubhouse offers full 19th hole facilities including fully licensed Bar and Restaurant, available 7 days a week.

The Golf Course has been designed to challenge golfers of all abilities. With a range of natural hazards and hilly terrain used to their full potential, the course is a pleasure to play.

The 18th hole at Kilternan is a par 3 of 167 metres which is truly one of the most challenging around. With its water feature to the front and left, it also offers the "great escape" to the right hand side leaving you no choice but to play in for two shots. Many a contest has been won and indeed lost on this final hole.

The Kilternan Golf Academy
The Kilternan Golf Academy and Pro Shop under the careful guidance of PGA Golf Professional Gary Hendley offers group and individual tuition for beginners and regular golfers. Rates for morning and evening sessions are available.

The Kilternan Golf Academy also offers A Golf improvement Clinic by appointment. Beginners are most welcome and sensibly helped along at the Kilternan Golf Club, lessons are available for pre-handicap and experienced golfers alike. 7 day access to teaching and practice areas is available right through the playing season.

The Pro Shop carries the full range of Golf equipment and accessories and offers a specialist service in golf clubs repairs. Golf Buggies, Power Caddies and equipment are available to hire.
