Slade Valley Golf Course is a parkland course set in the Dublin hills; it is known to be one of the highest set golf courses in Ireland with breath taking views over Dublin city. Located on a hill above Saggart Village in County Dublin, the club is within a 35 minute drive from Dublin Airport and a 45 minute drive from Dublin City Centre.

This 18-hole course snuggles among the fells of the Dublin Mountains and presents pretty amazing views. Slade Valley is a very undulating course which offers an exigent round of golf.

Founded in 1970, Slade Valley is quite a blase parkland course and perhaps one of the highest golf courses in Ireland. Caddies are available by earlier preparation, and once you get a shufti of the first few fairways, it might become a very good idea. Be ready to walk up some very sharp, sloping hills and then all the way back to down again.

Directions To Slade Valley Golf Club

From Dublin City Centre Follow signs for 'The West' and or 'The South'. You will come to the M50 (Dublin orbital). Follow signs for 'The South' and exit the M50 onto the N7 (towards Limerick and Cork). After about 4 km you will see signs for Citywest Business Campus, ignore them and take the following exit marked by brown traffic signs for Citywest Hotel. Exit off the N7 and carry straight on for about a kilometer. Proceed straight through the crossroads in Saggart Village taking the right hand fork in the road after about 2 km. Proceed up this road for approximately 2 km, following the "Slade Valley Golf Club" sign left. Keep to this road, the entrance to the course will be seen on the right after about 1.5 km.

From Limerick, Cork and Kerry Follow the N7 through Naas towards Dublin. After about 6 km exit left following the signs for Saggart. Drive into Saggart and turn right at the crossroads. Take the right hand fork in the road after about 2 km. Proceed up this road for approximately 2 km, following the "Slade Valley Golf Club" sign left. Keep to this road, the entrance to the course will be seen on the right after about 1.5 km.

From Dublin International Airport Exit the Airport and follow signs for M50. Take M50 southbound and follow it through the Tollbridge and take second exit the N7 (towards Limerick & Cork). After approximately 4 km you will see signs for Citywest Business Campus take the next exit marked by brown traffic signs for Citywest Hotel. Proceed straight through the crossroads in Saggart Village taking the right hand fork in the road after about 2 km. Proceed up this road for approxiamtely 2 km, following the "Slade Valley Golf Club" sign left. Keep to this road, the entrance to the course will be seen on the right after about 1.5 km.
