Description: With a rich history of over 157 years, the Fairyhouse race course has established itself as one of the leading racecourses of Ireland.

Fairyhouse Racecourse

Fairyhouse quickly established itself as one of Ireland's premier racecourses in 1848. In 1870, the Irish Grand National was run for the first time. The Grand National quickly became Ireland's most valuable and prestigious steeplechase and each success has its own rich tale.

Fairyhouse has always been one of the supreme racecourses and continues to attract the leading horse racers. Fairyhouse is now firmly established, after it was refurbished in November 1999, as one of the most modern facilities in the country, providing an outstanding level of comfort and service.

Fairyhouse Racecourse is located only a few miles from Dublin city centre and is encircled by green countryside. The Racing ground is easily reachable and during Racing, festivals and other major events there are extra Public Transport Buses available to facilitate the audience.
