Overview:
The Lynam's is situated on the GPO side of O'Connell Street, approximately 20 meters from the GPO. It is close to the main shopping (Henry and Grafton Street) and entertainment (including Temple Bar) centers and is only a short walk to the IFSC, Dublin's financial district. Situated in the heart of Dublin, the ideal location provides guests immediate access to all of Dublin's entertainment, shopping and historic areas. The city is compact in nature and everything is only a footstep away when you stay at Lynam's.

Lynam's Hotel was originally two Georgian town houses owned by the inventor of the Tilly lamp, Mr Frederick Tilley. The now aptly named 'O'Connell Room' located on the first floor of the hotel, would have acted as the main sitting room to its Georgian owners. The O'Connell Room affords the guests views of O'Connell Street, Ireland's main street & the new Dublin City Spire. The Lynam's is spread across 63-64 O'Connell Street. The Royal bank acquired No. 63 in the 1820's as their Dublin headquarters. In the 1870's the bank further expanded into the adjoining premises (No. 64). It was at this stage the ornate Victorian facade was created.

Lynam's is a boutique style, 40 bedroom hotel served by a lift. Decorated with elegance and individuality, the rooms reflect the needs of the modern traveler while respecting the original Georgian architecture of the building. The surrounds of the hotel are unique and comfortable. The serene environment has been described as 'an oasis in Dublin's bustling city centre'.
