Review: Becoming Jane shows the journey Jane Austen went on to become one of the most popular authors of all time.
Anne Hathaway plays Jane, who starts the film looking for a husband - at her parents' request.
She then meets a young, brilliant and roguishly charming Tom Lefroy. He's an apprentice lawyer who, unlike the other men in Jane’s life, is an intellectual equal.
Jane and Tom's relationship is not an easy one. But it inspires her career as one of the world's greatest romantic writers.
Jane Austen is a captivating character who sees the world irrespective of sense and sensibility, class and commerce and pride and prejudice, especially when it comes to love.
