Review: This movie has been inspired by a true story relating to the Japanese researchers discovering the Antarctic in 1957, and is all about bonds of friendship, loyalty and devotion in the extreme wasteland of Antarctica. Eight Blow is the story of eight brave sled dogs, who faces extreme weather conditions at hill top and try their best to search for their master; who is looking for a way to rescue them.

The film tells the chronicle of three members of a scientific mission: Jerry Shepard(the arctic guide), his best friend, Cooper, and a harsh American geologist, who are strained to leave behind their team of dearly loved sled dogs due to an abrupt accident and dangerous weather conditions in Antarctica. All through the callous, Antarctic winter, the dogs have to resist for endurance alone in the deep frozen wasteland for more than 6 months.

MPAA Rating: PG for some peril and brief mild language
