Review: The Illusionist revolves around a stage magician, Eisenheim, who flabbergasts the audiences with his stunning magic tricks.
Crown Prince Leopold begins admiring him. He wants him to be assisted by Sophie von Teschen while performing onstage. Eisenheim and Sophie know each other from their childhoods and it reawakens their love affair. But Eisenheim has to pay for his love by executing his greatest ever illusion.
This is a good drama, but you may expect more from a cast that includes Edward Norton, Paul Giamatti, Jessica Biel, Rufus Sewell and Eddie Marsan.
