Review:

Tackling religious subject movies has indeed coerced many directors so far. It requires an extra capability of capturing the danger surrounding the savior's birth as well as the jubilation of his arrival.

Catherine Hardwick produces a new religious film "The Nativity Story". This slow-moving account focuses on the torment of Mary (Keisha Castle-Hughes) and Joseph (Oscar Isaac). Some of the peripheral aspects of the story like Joseph's eventual belief, his thanks to the angel Gabriel are nicely captured. There are also some intense moments like the miracle of Immaculate Conception, crossing a dangerous river where Mary faces the prospect of being washed away by the nature and the village gossip about Mary being pregnant are presented in religious dimensions and limitations.

"The Nativity Story" is a must-watch for those hungering for entertainment with religious themes. It can be rated as a special event for sure. The film is full of emotions and sentiments. It is starring Keisha Castle-Hughes, Oscar Isaac and Shohreh Aghdashloo who have together made this film possible with their amazing and stunning performances.
