National Wax Museum Plus
The National Wax Museum Plus is an exciting interactive visitor attraction located
in the heart of Dublin's city centre Temple Bar district and just off Dame Street.
The museum is housed over four floors and 13,000 square feet of a historic Foster Place landmark building,
previously the home for Ireland’s gold store and arms at the turn of the last century!

Time Vaults of Irish History
The Time Vaults of history offers the visitor the opportunity to explore the various stages of Irish history through a wonderful experience of sight and sound.
The Chamber of Horrors
No Wax Museum would be complete without its very own Chamber of Horrors. Located in the basement of the museum visitors can bravely enter at their own risk and experience the weird and wonderful world of horror.
Children's Fantasy World
This children's fantasy world really is focused entirely on children’s imagination and their innate curiosity, with plenty of colour and wax figures on display, and pillars painted like cake and sweets, children really will feel like they've walked into a dream world.
The Writers Room
The Writers Room is a salute to the literary legacy of our nation's greatest writers.
Forever immortalised in wax and ready to greet you on your entrance to the Museum.
The visitor is welcomed into a library setting befitting of the figures who reside there side by side,
eternally remembered for their literary genius and contribution to world literature.
The Hall Of Irish Legends
This room features some of the greatest Irish entertainment and sporting legends including
Gay Byrne (TV Presenter) Mary Robinson (President of Ireland)
and Jack Charlton (Former Irish Team soccer coach).
Irish Heroes of Discovery
The Science and invention wing of the museum pays homage to the dedicated Irish inventors,
designers and scientists. Many of whom you may or may not have heard of.
The Grand Hall of Fame
The ultimate musical dedication to Irish rock ‘n’ roll and film legends including U2,
Phil Lynott and Liam Neeson, a veritable explosion of sight and sound to finish your journey
through The National Wax Museum Plus.
Science in Wax
Spark your interest in Science, Invention and Discovery. Join in the celebration of Irish scientific inventors,
designers and scientists with a visit to the science and discovery rooms. Featuring live and interactive experiments,
and displays of some of their greatest achievements.
The Comic Shop @ The National Wax Museum Plus
The National Wax Museum Plus has launched it's very own comic shop at the attraction,
featuring rare and collectable comics all at very reasonable prices.
The Comic shop is very fitting as a well as seeing all your favourite super heroes in hall of fame
you will now get a chance to take a super hero comic home with you as a souvenir of your visit.
You will have a chance to get up close to super heroes such as Batman, Superman,
007 and some of the greatest Star Wars character on you tour of the museum
then spend some time sifting through the hundreds of comic the gift shop has in stock
and if there is something in particular you are looking for just ask the friendly staff
who will be more than happy to search through the database to see if what you are looking for is in stock.
The stock includes super hero comics such as Batman, Superman, The Incredible Hulk
, Capital America as well as the Beano and the Dandy for the kids.
Prices are very reasonable starting from €1.25, many of these comics are very rare
so if you are a budding collector or just buying a comic to keep the kid occupied this is the place to go,
not forgetting to take a tour of the attraction while you are there.

The National Wax Museum Plus offers discounted group rates for pre booked groups of 12 or more
however pre-booking is essential. The National wax Museum plus is an ideal location for school tours

Halloween Fun at The National Wax Museum Plus
The National Wax Museum Plus is gearing up for a Halloween celebration of all things terrifying, horrible and gruesome. To celebrate our first year open were kicking off Halloween with a party, as well as launching the evil that is Freddy Kruegar who's dying to get his claws into you,
so don't let him down. We want to make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up and to do this we have fantastic deals over the Halloween weekend. To encourage the fun we want you to come in fancy dress with prizes and goody bags going for the best dressed.
We've also reduced our Family pass from €30 to €27 from Friday 29th to Sunday 31st October, with a euro off for individual fancy dress goers. Far more evil lies in the Chamber of Horrors where Frankenstein waits to be brought to life, while Dracula lays blood thirsty in his coffin.
Hannibal lector may not be too pleased to see you, but the bars he's behind will keep you safe for now, while his friend Buffalo bill goes about making his human skin dresses. Those of a nervous disposition can go and retreat to The Children's Fantasy World or the Science and discovery wing,
or sing their hearts out on screen in the Wax Factor video studio, and rub shoulders with the biggest and best that the stage and screen have to offer in the Grand Hall. So come and see us this Halloween weekend and see what the "Plus" is all about.
