Beaufield Mews

Beaufield Mews is Dublin's oldest restaurant where the buildings date back to the 18th century and are the stables and Coach House of the old Beaufield Mews Estate.

The 18th century Courtyard makes the perfect backdrop for your photographs, as do the fabulous rose gardens at the rear. These have been lovingly restored & are wonderful for a drinks reception.

History
Beaufield House & Mews has been in the possession of the current owner's family since 1930. It opened originally as an Antique shop in one room, opening only at night serving tea and homemade biscuits and scones made by the present owner Jill who made them as a child for pocket money. Gradually the holes in the roof were fixed and another room opened as a Restaurant in 1950 and ran by Mrs Kirwan. Back in the 1950s, there were really only restaurants in Dublin city centre; it was a new idea to have a Restaurant in the suburbs.
