Description: Coolmine R.F.C. emerged on Irish Rugby scene only 25 years back and has slowly progressed as one of the leading Rugby Clubs in Ireland.
Located in the north west of Dublin City, Coolmine R.F.C was first affiliated to the Leinster Branch in 1980 and entered the Junior Leagues in 1981. The Mini Rugby Youths section was founded during the 1981/1982 season and has prospered and strengthened ever since.
In 1985, after a number of successful years on the playing fields, Coolmine R.F.C. purchased its current home ground of eight acres in Dublin 15. The club also supports Under 20s in the J.P.Fanagan League and the youths from 7s-18s have their own Metropolitan League as well as Cup Competitions.
A modern two-storey clubhouse was officially opened in 1993. The first floor has a full bar with lounge area, and a sizeable function room. It can comfortably accommodate up to 250 people and is ideal for corporate events or private parties.
