Established in 1926, Skerries RFC is known for producing highly professional players. This Club won the Provincial Towns Cup for the first time by beating Wexford Wanderers in 1940/ 1941 season and repeated the same feat under Tommy Jenkinson in 1943 by defeating Athy. From that time until now, Skerries RFC has won a number of championships.
Holmpatrick, located in Dublin, is the home ground of this club. Skerries RFC is more than just a professional rugby Club. This Club offers professional training to budding players and has a lot in the offering for its fans. It has produced a number of players that represented, as well as captained Irish Rugby team.
