Description: Some say that Ireland is one of the best all-round windsurfing spots in Europe, with world class wave sailing conditions for windsurfers. This is reflected in the popularity of windsurfing among the Irish due to which there are plenty of places to rent equipment.

a our courses foster firm friendships that last long after the sails have been furled and folded away.

Our residential sailing centres at Baltimore and Collanmore have basic, clean and comfortable hostel-style accommodation with home cooked meals every day. We ask only that you bring a healthy appetite for fun and a spirit of adventure.

Discover a passion, find your sea legs with Glenans Irish Sailing Club, get powered by the wind and have the time of your life!

The Club has two residential sailing centres. Baltimore, on the south coast, is our cruising base and Collanmore, on the west coast is home to the dinghy and catamaran sailors and the windsurfers.

We have been teaching sailing in Ireland since 1969. Since then, more than 40,000 people have learned sailing with us. We welcome beginners and expert sailors, from all of Ireland and from many countries.
Glenans Irish Sailing Club Ltd. is associated with, but separate from, the famous French sailing school Les Glenans.

The Club's mission is to teach sailing and to promote a love of the sea and to bring people together through sailing.
