The Blanchardstown Centre
Dublin 15

Description: Draiocht’s facilities are second to none, boasting two theatre spaces, two art galleries, a full programme of events for children and young people and lots of drama, music, comedy, dance and more to choose from all year round, as well a funky bar and café open 6 days a week.

Draiocht

Since opening in 2001 Draíocht has reached right to the heart of the people it serves in Dublin 15 and its environs to provide stimulating and accessible arts programming. Over 50,000 people a year attend performance events including a mix of professional, national, international and local work. In addition, thousands more attend our two exhibition galleries, use our conference facilities and of course many enjoy the facilities of our Bar and Betelnut Café. Draíocht’s particular commitment to provide high quality arts experiences to children and young people is borne out by their year round Children and Youth Arts programme as well as their annual International Children’s Arts Festival, Spréacha, each June. Draiocht aspires to reaching as wide an audience as possible and their commitment to access for all to the facilities and activities of the Centre forms the backbone of all their endeavours. By presenting an exciting line-up they hope to offer you, their audience, a programme which will be entertaining and exciting as well as at times challenging and provocative.
