Conor Lambert is a member of the well known Lambert Family of Puppeteers. The Lambert Puppet Theatre is Irelands only permanent Puppet Theatre and is located in Monkstown County Dublin. This was Conor's training ground for over 20 years.
Over this time, Conor was involved in many productions designed for both adults and children from Hans Christian Andersen to Yeats and Wilde. Most of his skills were passed on to him by his Father; Master Puppeteer Eugene Lambert, also well know for his portrayal of O' Brien in Wanderly Wagon ( in which Conor played Mr Crow)
Conor Lambert now works on independent productions; touring schools, theatres, and festivals in Ireland and abroad. The Conor Lambert Puppet Shows provide live interactive entertainment for children and grown-ups by combining the traditional with the contemporary; resulting in hilarious, magical and memorable events suitable for all occasions. His shows cater for all ages and have been performed to audiences of up to 500.
Special Shows at Schools by Lambert Puppets
Conor Lambert Puppet takes bookings for shows to be held on school premises. The show is 45 minutes in duration and is fully interactive! The performance consists of the tried and tested Punch and Judy and every performance is adapted to suit the age of the audience. Nursery rhymes for the smaller ones are performed by the very popular duo Ding and Dong. This show is a magical treat and will be remembered for a lifetime.
