Gypsy maestro Oleg Ponomarev is a consummate musician who has won many international awards, and fans and critical acclaim all over the world. He is renowned for his intense stage presence and mastery of both violin and guitar and has recorded four albums with Loyko and tracks with Ron Woods and Charlie Watts from the Rolling Stones. He is joined by Croatian guitarist Drazen Derek, founding member of Café Orchestra and Wicklow born singer Aoife Doyle. Together they serve up a sizzling mix of gypsy tunes from all over the world, spiced with elements of jazz, rock and flamenco.


Brendan Begley & Caoimhín O Raghallaigh duo

Swerving from infectious slides to slow airs, sean-nós songs to wild, passionate polkas, accordion maestro and singer Begley and fiddler O Raghallaigh unleash the raw power and beauty of their Kerry music. Formed in 2007, they have toured Ireland, New Zealand and the USA most recently returning from two rapturous performances at the Irish Arts Centre, New York. Together, they have a wild, dynamic and fresh sound. They will release their album in early 2010.
