Dublin County Choir's major production of 2012 will be this beautiful but rarely performed Requiem, premiered in 1891; at the beginning of the Czech composer's peak creative period.
The 120 strong choir promises a performance that will resonate to the heart and transport listeners to a place beyond.
This piece has come to recent attention, having been performed at the funeral of the President of the Czech Republic, Vaclav Havel.
It will be conducted by Colin Block.
