Description: The Fresh Prints: 90's nostalgia exhibition Mixed media open submission show Little Green Street Gallery Thursday 17th May - 22nd Remember.... Buffy the vampire slayer, toy story, cat dog, hey arnold, star treck, nintendo, Jack Charlton, MTV, teenage mutant ninja turtles, neon colors...Just to name a few of themes and inspirations for the show. Over 30 artists have taken part in a homage to all things amazingly cringe worthy about the decade that was the 90's. Using a combination of constructed and visual instillations mixed media, illustration, graphic design, and 2 dimensional work. These artist promises audiences of all ages a light hearted show that is sure to muster up every buried memory to reminise about. The lovely people from Provider will be playing tunes to compliment your 90's nostalgia experience....and they'll be dishing out stamps for consession to Housewerk/Provider in the grand social, for when everything wraps up in the gallery. On a side note were also trying to raise funds for a new floor in the gallery to give all you budding creatives an even lovelier space to exhibit in. Were asking for a small donation at the door of a suggested 3e.... only if you can of course. Also... BYOB so dont be shy and bring a bottle of wine along for the evenings festivities. Description: Adrian Duncan is a Dublin based artist with a strong interdisciplinary practice working in video, installation, sculpture, drawing and writing, all of which have a presence in this exhibition. His work for this exhibition is site specific making use of the gallery space and its architectural features. Duncan’s work deals with the overlap between the sciences and art. Central to his practice are geometry, form and material, having studied engineering before moving toward the visual arts this multi-faceted approach is something Duncan uses to his advantage to create a well balanced show. It is not only the surrounding environment that will have an effect on this work but also the viewer, who is invited to have a physical encounter with the work. Preview May 3 18:00 - 20:00

Description: Dave West was born in Penclawdd, South Wales and grew up in Swansea City. He graduated from the Carmarthenshire College of Art & Design and is now settled in Balbriggan, North County Dublin. This new body of work has been in progress for the past three years and has progressed to an investigation into the relationships between place, atmosphere, light and the moods or feelings they can evoke.
