The Gaiety Theatre presents the Anna Livia Dublin International Opera Festival 2007.
This year the Gaiety Theatre will show:
LUCIA DI LAMMERMOOR by Donizetti - 2nd, 4th, 6th & 8th September
From Sir Walter Scott's classic novel, The Bride of Lammermoor, Donizetti fashioned one of his most passionate operas and mesmerizing heroines.
THE PEARL FISHERS by Bizet - 3rd, 5th, 7th& 9th September
Rich in colour and powerful harmonies, Bizet’s first full-length opera contains the great duet “Au fond du temple saint”, one of the most famous and beloved pieces of music in the entire operatic repertoire.
The Anna Livia Dublin International Opera Festival at the Gaiety Theatre always shows excellent opera and this year will be no different.
