Rihanna has released three albums in the past two years, Music of the Sun, A Girl Like Me and Good Girl Gone Bad.
She has also had single success, most recently with Umbrella and Shut Up and Drive.
Collaborations with some of pop's biggest names, from Justin Timberlake to Jay-Z, have added a new dimension to Rihanna's sound, which translates as a great live show.
