A story about growing up in the 90’s in small town Ireland. The
Field, Leamy’s Story follows a group of young friends and tells the
tale of teenage life, love and relationships in a rural community. As
events unfold and a community comes under threat the teenagers are hit
by the painful realisation that everything they know and take for
granted could be in shattered by one event.

avaricious man? An instrument of divine will? A thwarted
revolutionary? Does he deserve to be forgiven?

Classic Stage Ireland announces the world premiere of ‘Crystal’s
House’, a new play by CSI artistic director, Andy Hinds. This
production represents the launch of an exciting new second strand of
work for CSI - the development and presentation of new Irish writing.
The play is a hilarious 70’s comedy about sons, mothers, lovers and
shattered dreams.

As the stones shift beneath our feet, where will discontent arise? Has
post-boom Ireland already begun to witness an upsurge in nationalism as
unemployment rises rapidly in 2009? Project Arts Centre and Belfast
Exposed have invited four artists with a common interest in the
complexities of multi-cultural living to make new work for The
Prehistory of the Crisis (II).

Seamus Nolan, one of Ireland’s leading new artists, has been
commissioned to make a new body of work for his first solo exhibition at
Project Arts Centre. By throwing light onto issues that are contested
politically, judicially or socially, yet operating within the art world,
Nolan’s work addresses both the politic it represents, and also the
social infrastructure of the art world.
