The Valhalla Golf Club has a 17, 500 ft square clubhouse and 45ft Rolex clock tower which overlooks the eighteenth Green. The clubhouse, in the traditional Louisville design, blends both Midwestern and Southern accents.
In 1996 The Valhalla Golf Club made its mark on the world of golf by hosting the PGA championship which was a great success and it enabled the club to host further tournaments including rehosting the PGA Championship
in 2000.
The Valhalla Golf club is well fitted for spectators with its natural amphitheatres. The par 5 18th is one of the favourite spots for golf lovers to watch their favourite professional playing the game they love. The senior PGA championship was
played at Valhalla in May of 2004. Then On December 8th the PGA announced that the 37th ryder cup would be played at the Valhalla Golf Club.
