The African influenced décor ensures that Zanzibar is one of the best presented of Dublin’s bars. Mosaic tiling, lanterns, huge urns, plush velvet cushions, intricately carved woodwork and arches feature throughout. Huge palm trees also help give this Dublin club a particularly opulent atmosphere.
The artwork reflects life in the souks and bazaars of Marrakech, while the authentically African feel is enhanced by the interior design, which mimics ornate Arabic architecture.
Of course, Zanzibar is more than simply a Dublin bar. You will also be able to enjoy restaurant quality food while you are there.
Starters include succulent king prawns wrapped in filo pastry, and vol au vents with a filling that changes every day.
If you want something more substantial from Zanzibar, the marinated lamb kebab, served with roasted peppers, tomato, red onion, eastern spices and basmati rice is truly delicious. There is also a great range of pizzas, salads and pasta dishes. Zanzibar is an excellent choice if you want top quality food in Dublin.
The club can also be hired for private parties of up to 500 guests. Food and entertainment will be provided, including traditional Irish music, jazz or karaoke. Every Saturday, DJ Eric Dunne spin the decks at the Party People night.
A private function is a great time to take full advantage of the cocktail menu at the Zanzibar Dublin bar. All the classic cocktails are on the menu, and each of the bar tenders has their own speciality cocktail, if you want a surprise.
Friendly staff, good service and mouth-watering food all make Zanzibar an excellent Dublin club.
