The Paddywagon 6 Day Northern Tour takes in sights in Ireland and Northern Ireland, so you can learn about the history of the two countries and enjoy some of the most beautiful natural and man-made tourist attractions in the world.
DAY 1 of the tour leaves Dublin at 8.00AM, with stops at Monasterboice; the Battle of the Boyne site; the South Armagh Border crossing and Belfast, where a local guide will meet the group and take you on a fascinating walking tour of the city.
DAY 2 - You'll see Belfast; Glens of Antrim; Ballycastle; the Carrick a rede Rope Bridge (seasonal); the Giants Causeway and Ballintoy. In Ballintoy, you can stay in a luxury hostel and enjoy traditional music.
DAY 3 - Leave Ballintoy and travel onto Dunluce Castle; Historic Derry; Grianan Aileach; the Hills of Donegal and Donegal Town. Grianan Aileach is one of the the finest stone forts in Ireland, with great views of the entire North.
DAY 4 - From Donegal Town, see Sliabh League Cliffs; Bundoran; Creevykeel Court Cairn; WB Yeat's Grave; Sligo and Westport. Immerse ourselves in history at the pagan burial tomb of Creevykeel Court Cairn. Your guide will also take the round the grave of our National poet, WB Yeats.
DAY 5 - From Westport, visit Croagh Patrick; the Doolough FamineWalk; Leenan; Killary Harbour; Connemara National Park; Kylemore Abbey scenic stop and Galway. A chance for a true spiritual experience at Croagh Patrick, and you can view great wildlife - eagles or Irish wolfhounds - on our way to Kylemore Abbey.
DAY 6 - The final day of the tour leaves Galway and takes in Athenry; Colloney Castle; Ferbane; Bog of Allen and Phoenix Park before arriving back in Dublin.
