County Clare provides a number of cheap hostels for students and tourists visiting this county. Paddy's Doolin Hostel is a good choice to spend your time in County Clare. This hostel is run by the Moloney family who strive to provide personal attention to everybody while keeping the atmosphere friendly and relaxed. En-suite rooms and private rooms are both available and their standard is quite high. Central heating is provided in winter. A dining room, sitting room and complete kitchen facilities are available. Linen, hot showers and car parking are free.
Abbey Tourist Hostel is located in the centre of Ennis Town. After undergoing renovations in 1989, this hostel now has 20 rooms and can easily take up to a 100 people. Internet access is available at the hostel. Breakfast and linen are included in the price. There's a common room with colour TV.
A nice hostel in the Burren region located 12 miles from the Cliff of Moher is the Kilfenora Hostel. A common room, kitchen, laundry room, a conference room and free car parking are some of the facilities offered here. A maximum of 46 people can live here, with a choice of 10 person, 6 person and 4 person dorms. Private rooms can also be rented.
